What Is Our Corporate Canine Programme?
Our Corporate Canine programme plays a vital role in the socialisation of our incredible training dogs. Welcoming both playful puppies and gentle dogs in training in to visit workplaces enhances well-being for both staff and our dogs through uplifting, interactive visits.
Studies prove that oxytocin rises at the same frequency in dogs and humans as they interact together. With this in mind we have developed sessions to offer employees a chance to unwind, connect with colleagues, fill their cups and enjoy the proven benefits of canine companionship. While staff experience reduced stress and improved morale, our dogs benefit greatly from interacting with a multitude of people, build confidence through practicing their skills in differing environments inturn enhancing their future working roles, and all whilst thriving on the affection and engagement.
During each visit, employees also gain insight into the essential work of psychiatric assistance dogs and the difference they make to people’s lives and the mental health community.
